Every year the EEO Trust undertakes a survey of employers' views and practices on various diversity topics. Since 1997, the Diversity Survey has measured how well New Zealand workplaces access and value the talents of the diverse population and how they tap into the creativity, initiative, intelligence and skills of the labour market. The findings are compiled along with current national and international research findings. The latest Diversity Survey
The 2007 EEO Trust Diversity Survey was completed by 364 organisations that together employ 242,813 people. For the first time it explored whether organisations had a workplace culture that supported diversity - the majority said they did. It also identified best practice organisations and found they had lower staff turnover than other organisations.
